We build new systems, and we are glad to. What sets the work apart is that here a new system almost never arrives on a clean slate.
Most of what we are asked to build has to live alongside something already running, something that matters and cannot simply be switched off. A core banking platform that has been extended for fifteen years. A hospital system nobody wants to touch. Two systems that disagree about the state of the same order, quietly, for months.
That rewards a different set of habits: reading code nobody has documented, changing systems while they are serving customers, and being honest about what is genuinely risky. It is why we modernise incrementally rather than rewriting, why we stay vendor neutral, and why we work alongside your engineers instead of delivering a document and leaving.
If your project genuinely is a clean start with no integration burden, that is the most straightforward work we do and we are happy to take it. Most projects here turn out not to be, and it is worth knowing that before you begin rather than in month four.

What kind of software company is TrueForge?
An engineering consultancy rather than a body shop or a reseller. We design, build and modernise software that other parts of a business depend on, and we stay involved after go live. We are vendor neutral, so we are not incentivised to steer you towards a particular platform.
Do you build new software, or only modernise existing systems?
Both, and often together. A new service usually has to work alongside something older that cannot be switched off, so most projects involve building, integrating and modernising at the same time.
Which industries do you work in?
Mainly financial services and insurance, telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing and logistics. What they share is regulation and systems where downtime is expensive.
Where are you based, and do you work outside the UAE?
Our office is in Dubai Media City and we are registered in Dubai Internet City. We work across the UAE and the wider MENA region, on site, remotely, or as a blend.
How large a programme can you take on?
We are a specialist team, not a global systems integrator. We prime work where deep engineering matters more than headcount, and we work alongside a larger prime on multi year, multi vendor transformations. We will tell you plainly which situation you are in.
